If you are taking items like shampoo in your luggage, wrap them in a plastic bag. I didn't wrap mine once which left me with my clothes covered in shampoo.
The top of the shampoo actually exploded. It was possibly due to the airport staff throwing my bag or the air pressure difference in the plane.
