Pay TV without the installation fees

Want pay TV but don’t want to pay for installation?
Usually Pay TV companies in Australia charge about $100 to basically bring a set top box to your house and plug it in. Its crazy.
If your house already has cable or satellite installed then you may be able to get free installation of your set top box.
How do you do this you may ask? Well, ask your Pay TV company. It has worked for myself and other people I know.

Another area where you can get discount is for a service upgrade. My parents were long time subscribers of Foxtel. They wanted iQ but
they didn’t want to have to pay the stupid $200 ‘upgrade’ fee just to get someone to drop off a new box.
It was more annoying that new subscribers get it for free when long time loyal customers didn’t get it.
After talking to a few people on the phone they decided to allow them to have the upgrade for free.
It is also good to note that in some situations to upgrade you do need new cables installed. At my house they installed a new faceplate in the wall for the dual channels.
You probably won’t be able to get this for free.

Pay TV companies want new subscribers and will do anything to get you onto a contract. They also want to keep their existing
customers and are sometimes happy to do deals. So save yourself some money. Ask for the discounts.
